BEYOND THE DIAGNOSIS
Allergy Resilience:Â Evidence-Based Tools for Food Allergy Anxiety
A structured online program for adults and teens navigating food allergy anxiety, whether the allergies are yours or your child’s.
Anxiety doesn’t have to run the show.
Â
Living with food allergies is hard to explain to people who haven’t done it. The vigilance that never quite turns off. The exhaustion of always being the one who has to think about this. The moments where you realize your world has gotten a little smaller and less like the life you want to be living.
This isn’t anxiety getting it wrong. It’s anxiety responding to something genuinely threatening, and not knowing when to stop.Â
Most people navigating this never get the support they need. Allergy-informed providers are rare, waitlists are long, and most anxiety resources weren’t developed for a situation where caution is completely rational.
This program brings what works in the therapy room directly to you. Practical tools you can return to, skills that grow with you, and an approach grounded in clinical expertise and lived experience. No waitlists, no geography restrictions. Available wherever you are.
What This Program Is
At the heart of Allergy Resilience is a three-step framework: Recognize, Reflect, and Respond. Most anxiety programs tell you to challenge your fears or think more positively. This one starts somewhere different, with the understanding that food allergy anxiety makes sense, and that the goal isn’t to eliminate it but to change what you do with it.
Recognize: Learn to see your anxiety clearly. Where it lives in your body, what it does to your thinking, how it shapes your behavior. Most people are reacting to anxiety before they’ve even noticed it’s there.
Reflect:Â Get curious about what anxiety is telling you rather than just reacting to it. Shift from seeing it as the enemy to understanding it as information that points to what you value and what you need.
Respond: Build a toolkit of evidence-based skills for calming your body, managing your thoughts, and taking action that’s aligned with your values rather than driven by fear.
How It Works
Eight modules, each designed to be completed in 30-45 minutes. Video lessons are short and focused (most run 5-10 minutes) so you can work through the program in pockets of time rather than needing long uninterrupted stretches.
Each module includes video lessons, reflection questions, and downloadable resources: worksheets, tip sheets, and scripts you can keep and return to. Everything is designed to go at your own pace. Start where you are, move at the speed that works for your life, and come back whenever you need to.
You’ll build a personal Anxiety Action Plan across the program: a practical roadmap you can use in real moments, built by you, for you.
A printed workbook companion is also available: a bound book that follows the program module by module, includes all the downloadable resources, and gives you space to write, reflect, and keep everything in one place.

This program is for you if...
âś“ Food allergies have made your world smaller and you struggle to be present rather than scanning for risk
✓ The vigilance never quite turns off, even when you know you’re probably safe
âś“ You’ve tried to manage this alone and feel exhausted or isolatedÂ
✓ You want tools that were developed specifically for allergy anxiety, and not generic advice that doesn’t account for the fact that the threat is real
✓ You’re a parent whose own anxiety about your child’s allergies is affecting your quality of life, your relationships, or your ability to let others help
Â
This program is not a substitute for clinical treatment. If your anxiety feels severe, persistent, or significantly impairing, individual or group therapy may be a better starting point. This program can complement that work.
Making This Accessible
Cost shouldn’t be the reason someone doesn’t get support. 10% of every program enrollment funds a scholarship spot for those who can’t afford the full price. The application is simple and based on trust: a brief form asking about your situation and what this program would mean to you. No documentation required.
Apply for a ScholarshipLive Cohort Experience — Coming 2027
For those who want a more supported experience, a live cohort is coming in 2027. A small group moves through the program together with biweekly live sessions, real-time support, and the felt sense of not doing this alone. Space will be limited.
Enroll in the program now and you’ll have priority access when the cohort launches.

About Me
I’m a licensed psychologist, behavioral health researcher, and food allergy parent of nearly two decades. The tools in this program are ones I’ve used in my own life and refined through my clinical work with hundreds of individuals and families navigating food allergy anxiety. I developed this program because the support most people need simply doesn’t exist, and it should.
