Food Allergy Psychologist

Groups & Programs

Food allergies come with more than the medical side: the vigilance, the decisions, the weight of being the one who has to think about all of it. There’s real support for that part, too. I’m Dr. Elizabeth Hawkins, a licensed psychologist and food allergy parent of nearly two decades. Depending on what you’re looking for and where you live, there are two places to start.

Therapy Groups. Small, clinical groups for parents and adults, held via telehealth for those in British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, and PSYPACT states.

Beyond the Diagnosis Programs. Non-clinical emotional support, open to anyone, anywhere. Allergy Resilience, a self-paced course for managing food allergy anxiety, is available now. Live Connection Circles are forming, and a course for parents is on the way.
